By means of its structure, the MADT combines theory and practice in an intertwined and integrated manner. Its pedagogical methodology offers:
• Fabrication experience using the CNC equipment of IaaC, to develop the participants’ construction knowhow, as well as a physical and hands-on knowledge of material properties and fabrication possibilities.
• Readings and discussions to develop the participants’ ability to develop a critical position in their research.
• Lectures by well known architects and professionals, to enlarge the participants’ knowledge of the field.
• Site visits to industrial plants and production companies, to enlarge the participants’ knowledge of the field of fabricators and its potential for practical application.

The Master Course in Digital Tectonics (MADT) is a program interested in developing new conceptual and material opportunities emerging from the use of advanced design and fabrication technologies in Architecture. The nature of this course is open to a multidisciplinary audience, which includes:
• graduates in architecture, who want to pursue advanced research in the field of digital technologies;
• practitioners/employees of architectural firms, who want to acquire new skills to implement in their
• other graduates and professionals from design-related fields like engineering, product design, arts,
