Justificación/Descripción del curso:

El objetivo fundamental del International MBA (IMBA) es la especialización profesional de titulados universitarios mediante la aplicación de las más modernas técnicas de dirección y el conocimiento de las diferentes áreas de la empresa. Este programa pone especial énfasis en la capacitación para el desempeño de cargos directivos en el ámbito internacional, mediante un programa bilingüe impartido en ENAE y en el Stuart Graduate School of Business en Chicago.

El IMBA es un programa bilingüe (español/inglés) que dota de los conocimientos necesarios para dirigir con éxito una empresa en el actual contexto de creciente globalización económica , formando al alumno tanto en el hábito de trabajo en equipo como en el desarrollo de habilidades directivas, toma de decisiones, comunicación y capacidad de adaptación a diferentes entornos económicos, políticos y culturales. El IMBA es un programa especialmente concebido para desarrollar las capacidades de los participantes a la hora de liderar y ser participes en procesos de internacionalización empresarial.


Requisitos de acceso al curso:

Postgraduados universitarios, con dominio de inglés, que deseen adquirir, potenciar o poner en práctica sus conocimientos teóricos en la dirección y administración de empresas, dentro del contexto internacional en el que se desarrollan los mercados actuales, aprendiendo a trabajar en equipo y tomar decisiones, así como a plantear y seguir estrategias empresariales, todo ello a través de un programa conjunto realizado en España y Estados Unidos que potencia en los alumnos la capacidad de liderazgo y adaptación a distintos contextos económicos y diferentes culturas empresariales.

POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
The International MBA program analyses the dynamic global environment in which today’s business managers must operate. Courses outline the structure of the international financial systems and explain how the foreign exchange markets work. Other topics include the evolution of global enterprise, technology transfer, foreign direct investment and trade disputes. Managers must examine the relation between culture and economics and learn the importance of ethical and social responsibility in an international context. International Business prepares students for management careers in multi-national enterprises, international banking, an firms with interests in overseas operations.
The international MBA students can shape their course of study to suit their individual interests, allowing them to choice within the rich range of course they need to achieve a specialization in either Marketing of Finance management.
The International MBA students will complete at least three courses among the electives shown bellow according to their concentration preferences. They will work with an advisor to design the program that cares their career goals.

Financial Management
Description: This concentration is concerned with financial decision-making and financial instruments and markets. Students learn how to apply economic and financial theory to obtain solutions to financial problems, such as choosing among alternative investment projects and evaluating proposed investment strategies. Courses focus on managing investment portfolios and corporate finance. A finance concentration prepares students for careers in corporate finance and treasury management, banking and insurance, and portfolio management. IIT Stuart also offers a Financial Management certificate program.

International MBA enrolment is limited to students who have already completed ENAE admission requirements, including ENAE English language evaluation and those who have accredited the English requirements by the ENAE deadline. English exams and scores accepted as admission requirement are TOEFL and IELS scores and Cambridge ESOL Examinations grades.
